Target Companies Group was established in 2003 under the name Hasan Bülent Eynihan, beginning its activities with the sale of grains and feed. On 28.06.2005, the company, initially a sole proprietorship, decided to continue its operations as Hedef Kömür Building Materials Grain and Industry Trade Ltd. Co. Simultaneously, it started serving customers in the heating sectors along with coal sales.

The growth and expansion process of Target Companies Group gained momentum in 2010 with the commencement of construction materials sales. During this period, the company expanded its product range to meet the demand in the construction industry and increased its customer base. It also started insulation applications.

Target Companies Group demonstrated rapid growth between 2011-2013 in a study led by TOBB and TEPAV, ranking 70th among the top 100 companies, and received an award from the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in 2015.

In 2017, Target Companies Group took a further step by opening its first 2500m2 building market. This move enhanced its ability to offer more comprehensive services regarding construction materials and building products to customers.

In 2018, Target Companies Group ventured into the agricultural sector and opened Turkey’s first agricultural market. While expanding its field of activity, it strengthened its ability to provide agricultural materials and products to farmers. The agricultural market offers a variety of products to meet all the needs of farmers. Simultaneously, it launched sales through ciftciburada.com.tr, establishing Turkey's first online agriculture and construction market shopping site. With its success in e-commerce, it delivered products all over Turkey.

In 2021, the company opened the largest building market in the Black Sea Region, covering approximately 10,000m2, and moved the agricultural market to the previous building market location, expanding both the building market and agricultural market areas and increasing product variety.

Committed to continuous growth and development, Target Companies Group consolidated its five warehouses located at different points into a single location in 2022, establishing the Hedef Logistics unit on a 10,000m2 area. This aimed to provide easier and faster deliveries to its customers.

In 2023, Target Companies Group began construction works and set significant targets for future developments in this field.

By the end of 2023, the company, which has continuously developed over 20 years with a vision and sustainable investment approach, changed its name to Hedef Companies Group Building and Agriculture Ltd. Co. to reflect its green energy awareness, removing the term 'coal' from its title.
